James F. Johnston, RA, NCARB

Senior Project Manager

James is directly involved in all phases of the work, collaborating with clients to determine their needs and objectives. With that knowledge, he generates design and construction concepts to turn aspirations into reality. His direct involvement with the production of construction documents enables him to maintain a high level of quality over projects as they progress from schematic design to completion of construction. James’ healthcare and commercial portfolio includes general offices, physician offices, clinical healthcare spaces, tenant fit-out, labs, and strip retail centers. He has designed church renovations as well as government and municipal projects for EMS, fire companies, and administrative buildings.

When he’s not working with clients, James enjoys bike rides with his family and woodworking. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from Carnegie Mellon University.
